The other night having had some trouble sleeping these past few nights i decided to try something a little different.  After stumbling upon a page while doing some other research into certain plants I came across an article on wild lettuce. I instantly recognized this plant from its images on wikipedia as a plant that grew in my back yard and that I had seen many times before.

I hurried out to the hill behind my house and located a few growing plants, I picked their prickly leaves since it was not in flowering state yet and brought them in to make some bed time tea. I made the tea also adding a bit of camomile for taste since I read that wild lettuce can be a bit bitter. The tea was a bit weird tasting but nothing that a little agave nectar could not cure. I felt very relaxed fairly quickly and then went into the dream world. I had some very vivid dreams which i have since forgot but would love to recommend this remedy to all. 

 The hoppi tribe used to cut the stock and collect the milky white resin that would drip from this plant, and continue the process for a few days. This resin would harden and create an almost black tar looking resin. They believed that their was more to this world then our consious state and that the dream world was the key. By smoking this lettuce opium they would reach that world.

My thoughts on the recent swine flu outbreak. A simple way to stop the spread of this is to give it no media attention. The constant bombardment of fear lowers our immune systems putting us into fight our flight mode. Our bodies when in this fear mode lets disease replicate.

Another way to stop the spread of disease is to create a better cleaner planet because the more oxygen we have to breath the less most disease can survive.

I suggest alternative medicine, ancient medicine that has cured before and will continue to cure because it comes from the earth not a laboratory.  I am not saying that western medicine has not made major breakthroughs to help people fight major diseases such as cancer, aids, polio & tb, because it has helped millions.
